Dear Parents, Staff, and Students,
Welcome back to the International School of Cape Town as we embark on the third term of 2023! I hope this message finds you all rested, rejuvenated, and ready for the exciting term that lies ahead.
First and foremost, I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for your unwavering dedication and commitment to our school community. The past mid-year break was a well-deserved opportunity for everyone to recharge and spend quality time with loved ones. I trust that you all had the chance to create lasting memories and experiences that will continue to inspire and energise you as we venture into this next chapter together.
To our dedicated staff, thank you for your continuous efforts in guiding and shaping our students’ educational journeys. Your expertise, passion, and tireless dedication have a profound impact on their lives. I encourage you to seize this opportunity to inspire and empower our students, igniting a love for knowledge that will guide them throughout their lives.
As we begin the third term, there is an unmistakable sense of enthusiasm and anticipation in the air. Our students have shown incredible resilience and determination throughout the year, and I have no doubt that they will continue to thrive academically, socially, and personally. Let us encourage and support them in their pursuits, fostering an environment that nurtures their growth, curiosity, and passion for learning. Our dedicated teachers have been working diligently to prepare engaging and innovative lessons that will captivate and challenge our students.
The third term promises to be filled with exciting opportunities, academic achievements, and memorable experiences. I am all too aware of the fact that it is the final term for our Year 12 and 13 students before they start their As and A-level exams. We look forward to sending them out with our best wishes at the final event of the term – the Valedictory Service.
