Social Responsibilities

The International School of Cape Town takes social outreach very seriously. In addition to the scholarships awarded by the Bursary Trust in Year 8 every year, both the Primary and the High School have a number of projects they participate in annually. These are driven either by the parents (in the Primary School) or the students themselves (in the High School).

Primary School

Every Thursday the Primary school children are encouraged to bring an extra sandwich to school for Feedback. Feedback is an organisation that provides lunches to school children in need. You can go and visit their website here.

High School

Each Year group in the HIgh School adopts an organisation for the duration of that year. The following were supported in 2008:

Year 7: Marsh Memorial Homes

Year 8:

Year 9: DARG

Year 10: James House

Year 11:

Year 12:

In addition to this, the whole school supports Bel Porto through termly fundraising with Civvies Days (students come to school in casual clothes) and contributes to Operation Christmas Box in November/December of every year.
