Fee Schedule 2012
Nursery Registration Fee: R300
Registration Fee: R500
Foreign Registration Fee: R650
This is payable with the submission of an application form for a place in the School. It is non-refundable and covers the cost of assessment and administration.
Placement Fee: R7500
This secures a place in the School and is payable on confirmation of a place in the School. At the time of payment the student’s name is added to the School Roll. The placement fee is non-refundable.
Placement Fee for ‘AS’ (Year 12) Level Students: R5000
Placement Fee for ‘A’ (Year 13) Level Students: R4000
This is payable on confirmation of a place in the School. The placement fee is non-refundable.
Tuition fees
Parents are given 4 options with regard to the payment of tuition fees:
- Standard annual fee payments: Fees paid annually within the first two weeks of the school year are be charged at the standard rate.
- Late annual fee payments: Fees paid annually after the second week of the school year.
- Quarterly fee payments: Parents who choose to pay their fees quarterly are required to pay these on the first day of each term.
- Monthly fee payments: Parents may prearrange with the School to pay their tuition fees over a 10 month period, each payment falling due on the first day of each month, January to October.
The school will also accept monthly stop orders, as long as the terms thereof are confirmed with the accounts office before implementation.
Included in the fees
Tuition Fees are inclusive of all textbooks and exercise books which support the curriculum, whereas parents are responsible for the purchase of stationery. A refundable Text Book Deposit of R650 to cover loss and damage will be charged to all students entering Year 7 and all new students, through to A Level (Year 13).
Fees may be paid by cheque, payable to the “International School of Cape Town”, or preferably by direct transfer into the School’s bank account at:

The fee structure for siblings may vary. Please contact the accounts office for further information.
Aftercare
Aftercare is available at the school at the rate of R18.00 per hour, or part thereof. For late collection there is a charge of R100.00 per hour or part thereof.
School bus charges
The bus service runs to and from Hout Bay and Tokai at a cost of R1 500.00 per term.
Notice
One full term’s notice to leave the School must be given in writing, as per the Form of Agreement.
Additional information
Parents are responsible for the cost of all external examination fees.
Additional obligatory incidental fees
Other costs that you may incur include: camps, school diary, annual magazine and pupil insurance.
